school sucks, so i sleep through it

oh, haha, my friends finally got off the hook in a sense witht eh whole party being busted thing. they got off with one year of probation and teh furnishing alcohol to minors charge dropped. it was beautiful, so basically the total cost came to 550 dollars, which wasn’t bad considering we stood to pay 3 times that. concert tonight, should be kinteresting, casue we were sounding a little off at our rehearsal today. it should eb all good, we always bring it together right before we perform.

oh god, i finally got them! pictures of me and ben runnign around totem lake, its hilarious! they came out great, i only wish we had gotten pictures of us with the police, that would have been even better. but there’s soem good digimon shrine

i just watched my roomate adam come intot he kitchen, calmly grab a packet of oatmeal, and then he proceeded to open it and dump it into the trash. i asked him what the hell he was doing after he finished dumping it all, and he just said “what the fuck am i doing?” i swear i haven’t laughed that hard in awhile. nothing like being so out of it you have no idea what you’re doing.

just got back from camping, its been awhile really, and i’m glad that i went. it was nice to be outside for a weekend, even if it was at a highly commadative one (deception pass). the weekend mostly comprised of beer and fires. we got some real raging fires going on this weekend. mostly cause we went to eh beach and jacked a shitload of driftwood. we were speeding on the way back though and two rangers gave us a speeding ticket. god, what a joke that was. these guys didn’t even care, i wonder why they even pulled us over. they told us that we could contest it, they didn’t care, and we bullshitted with them for like 15 minutes afterwards, cause they had both graduated from western. so they were cool, i just wish we had met them under different circumstances. it was nice to be able to just sit around and do nothing but sit and stare at a fire. also, not having to give a damn about personal hygine was very, very nice.

hey, i got off my ass and did mama bear yesterday, i can’t believe i had the motivation to landscape the parts of the yard i wanted to. i don’t have enough money to buy plants though, so its time to go out with hori hori and shovel, and go jack some corporate bushes

hmmm, where to begin…i don’t know, life is really random and interesting, i suppose. so anyways, about 2 weeks ago, alyson told me she was goign to be goign to new york int he first weekend of november and she told me that since her friend julia (the reason she was pretty much going for) paid for her ticket so she wanted to pay for mine…which she did, and i totally owe her for it, flying ain’t cheap, despite all this terrorist shit. we flew on jetblue, which we were kinda sketched out about cause we had never heard about it, but it turned out to be the coolest airline ever. all the seats were leather, and they all had their own 4 inch tvs imbedded into the seat in front of you, which they let you use for free. and they don’t offer meals during their flights (cause their longest flights are cros continental) so they just offer lots and lots of snacks. they walked by with a tray full of good salty things, and they just kept saying “are you sure they don’t want to try this?” so we pretty much just gorged ourseleves, and they kept comign by with pop and shit, i think i had like 5 bottle sof water, 4 cokes, and a few cranberry juices, it really made the flight really rad. so we got in around 5 hours later, which due to the time change was actually 9 in the morning, so we navigated the subways to manhattan, around east village which is where julia lives. the streets of new york are so busy, its great, i mean imagine like the ave. on a saturday night and its like 10 times that crowded all the time, everywhere in the city. there are shops everywhere cause pretty much alot of the city is set up so that even the residentail areas are commercail cause all the first floors of the buildings are just little shops, its all pretty cool. so we got to julias around 10 (after familiarizing ourselves witht he subway, which is really great) and she ahd just gotten to sleep around 7 due to partying and drugs. she lives in a nice little loft place which is really pretty small , considering that its just one room with enoguh room for a desk and a bed, and then a small kitchen and bathroom. there’s alot of windows though so alot of lights get in, and the street she’s on is surprisingly quiet considering how busy it is. but it does cost 1850 a month. dear god, i was shocked when she said that. that was livign by herself too, her mom pays for it though, so its all good. but we slept most of the day and ended up just kinda wandering around that ngiht, it was really cool though cause we went to this really great party across the east river, right over in brooklyn. it was really sketch, in this warehouse part of own, right ont he river. so we were going to see DJ spooky, which we did (god, what a strange act, he just put on tracks with his cmoputer and just jammed along with his electric six string bass) but you get there, and its a poorly lit place with lots of peopel who could very well be crack heads hanging around. they don’t pat you down, and load you ona cargo elevator which takes you to the 10th floor where i went to the raddest venue ever this place was just all windows looking over manhatten, with cavernous celings, crazy lighting and lots of noise. it wasn’t very crowded either, which was a major plus. we basically danced like maniacs (god, i am so out of dancing shape…i only went for 3 hours without a break) and just went back home and spent some time talking and eventually passing out around 6 in the morning. the next day we slept in late again and eventually went over to alyson’s other friend (former roomate from freshman year) named catlin. we went over to her place in brooklyn around 5 pm, and ended up seeign monsters inc. which really was a funny movie, and after that we went back to julia’s with catlin and had a glamorous evening of runnign around julia’s neighbiorhood. which was a total blast. again, getting back at like 5 smoking, and sleeping. the next day we woke up early, around noon and finally got around the city some more, checking out alot of the areas (we didn’t really see any landmarks though, there really wasn’t enough time to see landmarks and vist alyson’s friends in 3 days) wow, is that place expensive though, its probably for teh best that i didn’t spend too much more time there. but when we got back around 6 we walked in and saw that all of julia’s stuff was on her bed. which was hella scary cause it dawned on us, that she had probably been beign robbed when we got up to her room, but they hadn’t had enough time to get everything out, and they had gone through everything int he room, they were really through, like goign through allthe cabinets, and bags, and drawers and putting everythign they were goign to steal on the bed. they oly ended up stealing a semi broken lap top so she was pretty lucky. we were also lucky they hadn’t been waiting for us or something. it was kinda odd. but yeah, so we went and took the subway back to the airport and got kinda lost along teh way so we got to the airport like 15 mintues before our flight left and we ran all the way there and basically got really lucky and they managed to get us on the flgiht, it was nice. i lost my leatherman though, those bastards. but yeah the trip was generally great in all ways, i really liked the town and wish i had more time to spend tehre, caus ei thinki would have at least needed a few weeks. anyone who has a chanve to go there should totally take advantage of it.
