so yeah, we went to court this morning to sort out everything, and it went down like this…at least for me anyways…goddamn, we get there at 9:45, and have to wait until 10:45 until just me is called. this is due to the fact that my last name is driscoll. my other friend’s last names are straney and wilson, so god know how long they were there. so yeah, i pleaded guilty and they gave me a 250 dollar fine which isn’t that bad at all…but 2 years probation. 2 fucking years., thank god i turn 21 soon, then all i have to worry about is buying alcohol for little kiddies, and i guess disturbing the peace, but this has pretty much nullified our chances for ever having a party for teh rest of our college years, but goddamn it was worth it. not like i’d want to deal with that once every two months or whatever anyways. so yeah, probation is funny, but i’m glad we didn’t have to pay that much, still gonna have to get a job though…

it is so hilarious and so wierd at the same time, i’m waiting to got o marriott…..GO TO MARRIOTT…oh god….so stoned. tried to get messenger to work, but no go, tried to get hotmail to work so no go….forced to use blogger. why haven’t i blogged in awhile? why am i resorting to it now? out of desperation to have some outlet i think. if i didn’t have something to put all these thoughts into i would be in trouble, and blog is my only option. blog is my savior and i totally succumb to its glory and power. and alsot he fact that i can share this moment with everyone who cares to read it. which is probably no one but hey, i can at least feel warm and fuzzy about it now. so yeah, i’m probably supposed to be studying for something, but i think that i’ll be allright if i don’t, hopefully i will be. wow i’m tapping so many keys at once, this is amazing, i’m going so freaking fast. so anyways, last saturday, we had THE largest party i’ve ever been to up here at western, (i swear we had about 200 people there at one point) and around 2:30 we got busted. and 3 of the four renters got fines for about 500 a piece (furnishing to minors, and disturbing the peace) so it was generally a fiasco. in retrospect, i totally think that it was worth it, it was such a great experience, we had a great sound set up for people that were spinng…everything from hip hop, to jungle to trance and house. and there was great lighting and atmospherfe and people were actually dancing, it was rad. but the police needed everyone out so i lead a bunch of people out of the side window where there weren’t any cops, i felt like moses or something. but we all got nailed hard, and court is on monday, hopefully we’ll be able to contest some of thsi shit and not have to pay so much freaking money. but yeah, it was fun but expensive, but to let you know, walls of tarps strung up to keep people out of the front yard works incredibly well, it delayed the cops from finding us for 3 hours. so yeah, that was the general highlight. tuesday was great as well, alyson and i went up to vancouver with intentions of seeing ben folds live. so we got there and realized that we didn’t know where the venue was and we looked around and eventually called jakub, one of my roomies, and he told us it was at the commodore, not the palladium. so we got there an hour late, but we hadn’t really missed ben folds at all, he played until 10:30 and we got there at 8:30, so it was all good. ben folds fucking rocked my ass, i love seeing him live, and the second time was even better. and after that, since it was tuesday night, we went over teh the lotus for “automatic” which is what they call they’re drum and bass and jungle night. so we danced around for a few hours, got a little drunk and went back home after a bit. and let me tell you the border was terribl, going into canada, they needed an id, and a proof of citizenship. they still made us go through customs to have our car searched. then coming back into america, they told us to pop our trunk. definalty not a time to be smuggling drugs back and forth from. so yeah, that’s pretty muuch all i want to rant about i think, so i’ll leave it as this unfurled mass of letters and words and sentances, for your deciphering eye to precieve. peace out.
well shit, here i am and its my first drunk blog…i don’t even know if anyone is going to read this. maybe someone will, i don’t know i figure i’m typing this for myself more than anything…i don’t even know what to type about. i remember being all gung ho about this when i was walking around today, like i had a million things that i wanted to get off of my chest, but really i don’t ahve anything to say. mostly tghat life is beautiful and people are stupid…i think that about wraps it up. so yeah, i guess i’ll just write an email to alyson and just pass out, sounds good to me…
goddamn, as if this shit all over the country wasn’t bad enough…here i sit at work and there is a discussion about arab people in the US who are showing that they are happy that america got what was coming to them. regardless of how tragic that this all is, i really think that we did, we meddle in other countries affairs and never expect it to come back and bite us in the ass. strike another one against our government…but anyways this woman calls in to NPR and starts plowing on about how america is a great country because of its christianity, and that they should respect our laws and rule, and that she can justify her position becasue she’s married to an arab. that has got to be one of the worst excuses to use. its like saying you can understand how terrible the holocaust was because you’re jewish. goddamn christitans….so self rightious.
ok, so what’s teh deal, i’m trying to get thsi to work, and it seems to be doing ok i think….
yay! this is working!
